This recipe really reminds me of the french moelleux au chocolat only a little bit easier. Its a soufflé and molten chocolate in one what's there not to like about!!
Ingredients
150 g extra bitter chocolate ( I prefer a 90% chocolate)
200 butter
4 eggs
4 egg yolks
4 tbsp soft sugar
60 g flour
1 liter of ice cream vanilla ( or some other flavor you prefer)
Let's get this lava flowing :
Cut the chocolate into pieces. Melt the butter in a saucepan, stirring over low heat. Remove the pan from the heat, immediately when the butter is melted. Stir the chocolate together with the butter , to a all melted mass and keep it on lukewarm temperature.
In a bowl mix the eggs with the egg yolks and sugar. Stir with whisk the molten chocolate trough the egg/sugar mix. Add slowly the flour. Divide the batter between the muffin cups. Cover the muffin cups with a piece of cling film. Keep them to use in the fridge they need to stay in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours.
And then after all the waiting.......
Preheat the oven to 225 ° C. Bake the chocolate cakes for about 8 min in the middle of the oven. Take them directly out of the oven. You can make the edges apart and turn them each on a plate or take a spoon and eat them from the muffin cups.
And for a nice finishing touch a scoop of ice cream alongside don't forget to serve immediately.
