Thirsty Thursday: Soft Sweet Breakfast Smoothie

For this Thirsty Thursday, I really didn't felt like having the same sandwich again. So I looked to our fruit bowl and decided to shake things up a little bit. Enjoy this super fast easy smoothie. 

Ingredients; 

A handful of green grapes
1 Kiwifruit
1 Banana
1 cup of Orange Juice

Then I put all these healthy ingredients in the blender and mix them all together and to add a little bit of extra sweetness I added a Teaspoon of honey to it and mixed it 1 last time. 
I poor it in a nice class and I was ready to start my day!

Super Fast Monday: Toast with a twist



For this Super Fast Monday we have a lunch or maybe breakfast meal. Today I have a day off and waiting anxious for the results of my exams. So I had some time to prepare myself a good healthy lunch. And I thought of a Toast with a twist..

For this twisted recipe we need: 

3 Tbsp. minced fresh chives, divided
2 Tbsp. Creme fraiche ( optional) 
6 large eggs
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Salt and Black pepper
4 large slices of whole wheat bread, toasted
1 large avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and diced 
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
4 oz. thinly sliced smoked salmon

Preparation:
Whisk 2 Tbsp. chives, creme fraiche ( if you want of course), and eggs in a large bowl. Melt butter in a large heavy nonstick pan over medium- low heat. Add egg mixture and season with salt and pepper. Cook, occasionally scraping bottom of pan with a heatproof spatula to form large, soft curds, until just barely set, 3-4 minutes. Set aside. 

Place 2 slices toast on each plate. Put avocado into a bowl, mash with a fork, and season with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Spread mashed avocado over each slice of toast. Spoon eggs over avocado. Drape the salmon slices over the eggs, garnish with remaining 1 Tbsp. chives, and season to your perfect taste with pepper.

Sinner Sunday: Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie is for me the winter favorite! I use the canned cherries because those have the most flavor and the darkest color in the winter. And together with the gold crust and white whipped cream it is beautiful

Thirsty Thursday: Mango Lassi ( smoothie )

Ingredients: 
1 mango
500 ml of full-fat yogurt
500 ml of ice-cold water
3 ice cubes
2 tablespoons sugar

Ready to drink something: 
Peel the mango and cut into pieces. Put the yogurt in a blender or food processor and add the icy water, ice cubes, sugar and mango increasing. Mix all ingredients until smooth smoothie. Add any additional sugar to taste.

Tip: really nice in combination with a hot and spicy shrimp curry! 

Simple Wednesday: Beetroot Salad

For this Simple Wednesday we want something easy, tasteful , but that also looks like a high class difficult meal. 
For this recipe we only need 3 main ingredients.. Well if isn't easy! 

A healthy & easy #salad #recipe which uses beets, goat cheese, candied walnuts & baby greens to make a yummy side dish.

Tasty Tuesday: Warm chocolate cake

For this Tasty Tuesday we are enjoying one of my favorite deserts of all time! Warm chocolate cake. Even when I close my eyes I see the warm chocolate slowly going out of the cake like lava... mmmm 
This recipe really reminds me of the french moelleux au chocolat only a little bit easier. Its a soufflé and molten chocolate in one what's there not to like about!! 
chocolademoelleux! -100gr donkere chocolade -110gr boter -50gr gezeefde bloem -,90gr suiker + 1 zakje vanillesuiker - 4 eieren  Boter en chocolade laten smelten; 2 eieren +2 eigelen loskloppen met garde; + suiker toevoegen verder opkloppen+ 50gr gezeefde bloem,verder loskloppen. Chocolade/botermengsel toevoegen.  1 uur in ijskast zetten, daarna in kommetjes gieten. 8 à 10 min in voorverwarmde oven op 210°.

Super Fast Monday : Thai Pumpkinsoup

With Asian flavors of coriander, coconut milk and curry this pumpkin is the ultimate winter favorite.
It is fast nice and spicy but the cool coconut milk and coriander ( cilantro). It cools down your mouth.
